At our 54th Convention in Victoria May 15-17, 1977 a suggestion was made that it would be historically interesting to write up how some of our traditions were born and to recall humorous happenings thru the years. Gordy Frost and Don White, Sr. were appointed to this chore. Advice and counsel was solicited from such venerable old timers as Bill Fahs, C. B. White, Bob Sullivan and others, and their contributions and suggestions are gratefully acknowledged. While what follows are recollections on the lighter side – the serious accomplishments and the very reasons for the existance of this Association is reflected in a review of the minutes of the various minutes throughout the years.
